Haryana Cheerag Scheme 2023: The Haryana Cheerag Yojana is a scheme launched by the Haryana Government in 2021 to provide financial assistance to students who belong to economically weaker sections of the society and are studying in Classes 9 to 12. The scheme aims to support and encourage students to continue their education and pursue higher studies.
Under this scheme, the Haryana Government provides a scholarship of Rs. 9000 per year to eligible students. The scholarship amount is directly transferred to the bank accounts of the students. To be eligible for the scheme, the student must be a resident of Haryana and must belong to a family whose annual income is less than Rs. 1.80 lakhs.The Haryana Cheerag Yojana is a step towards ensuring that every student in the state has access to quality education and an equal opportunity to succeed in life.

➡️Cheerag Scheme Haryana 2023 Eligibility And Documents⬅️
Only those families who are residents of Haryana can apply for Haryana Chirag Yojana 2023. Only the children of Haryana will be given the benefit of this scheme.
- To take advantage of the Haryana Chirag Yojana, it is mandatory for the student to have the residence certificate of Haryana.
- Such students who have taken their education from government school, only those students will get the benefit of this scheme.
- Under the Haryana Cheerag Scheme 2023, the student will be allotted the same school for free education, in the block in which the student lives.

- Apart from this, it is also mandatory for the student’s family to have an income certificate. To take advantage of this scheme, the annual income of the family should not exceed ₹ 80000.
- Family id.
- Student’s aadhar card ID proof.
- Passport size photo of the student.
➡️Selection Process⬅️
- According to the official notification of Haryana Chirag Yojana 2023, the benefit of this scheme will be given only to those students who will be selected through lucky draw.
- To get Haryana Cheerag Scheme 2023 Benefits, first student will have to apply online. After online application, lucky draw will be drawn on 01-05 April 2023.
- Any student whose name will be selected for free education through this lucky draw will be admitted to the school after completion of the process.
- Children will be admitted through the process of admission in private schools from 01-10 April 2023.
- Under the Haryana Chirag Yojana 2023, if some of the students selected in the first phase do not get their admission done and the seats remain vacant, then the second list of seats will also be issued by the Haryana Government.
- The admission process will be completed in the second phase from 10-15 April 2023.
